Although my tastes run to the intersect of the full lunar eclipse and the winter solstice, there is a silent, tacit and nexus moment in this season. It causes me pause to think that there is a commonality in thought and consciousness that proves that men can draw together united and with intent.

I generally eschew altruistic and naive sentiment. Yet, I somehow find utility in that which uniquely defines us as human. Thought about how service to fellow man, in an way that expects nor demands return, can lift us to a transcendent place, that we cannot achieve alone.

I love you Andrew, my brother.

Thank you for sharing your home with us this season.

PS. I would be happy to share another neo-pagan remembrance festival with you anytime! lol

Great to see you blogging again Andrew...I came across your blog quite some time ago, I read it all, and I mean it all, then I kept you on my blog feed for quite some time in anticipation of another post, I checked in occasionally, nothing! Then today I see you have re-emerged, good for you, and for me as a reader! Your posts are very entertaining and creative and like me you include your family which offers the personal touch. I loved your personal tour of Kauai, an island I visited a few years ago, and your photography of the island was incredible. I remember my own first immersion into the underwater landscape, something that also became an obsession...how could it not - there is another world under there after all!
Anyway, thought I would introduce myself finally, comment and say Hi from a Texas (I am actually English).
Hope to hear more of your future endeavors and adventures soon.

Hey Andrew & Jeri,
I used to live across the street from Tunnels in Haena in 1981 before moving to Nevada City and teaming up with you two. Yes, it is a dreamland filled with ancient and current supernatural powers of nature and beyond. I'm so happy to see you got filled up there and trust that you did the hike up to Hanakapai water fall on your way to Kalalau Valley. This paradise has unlimited magical destinations. I have been back many times since then and am always rejuvenated by the adventures there. Dot & Byron Fears who joined WOW camp on the playa used to live in Wainiha Valley and had a Bed & Breakfast there as well as a Napali boat touring company for many years.
It is so sweet to see your adventures thru this blog. You will find many of ours posted to our facebook pages and emerging blog now being used to gather interest in building Intentional Community with a focus on the Brilliance Community proposed adjoining Harbin Hot Springs. We want you two to live next door some day and are trying to rally folks of like minds to put our resources together to make a festival that we don't have to drive home from because we life there. We just got snowed out with loss of power for last week so we stayed with Kitty & Frank all week after BRAF Artumnal benefit with our latest lighting effects. Sorry we missed you in the process.
Love & Blissings,
Bruce & Kamila
